ROME (Sept. 27, 2023) – Live video from featured matches (in select global territories), a minute-by-minute live blog and an expansive Ryder Cup Game Zone highlight the enhanced, interactive coverage of this week’s 2023 Ryder Cup at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Rome on RyderCup.com and across Ryder Cup social media channels. The immersive experience will allow golf fans to engage with the Ryder Cup (Sept. 29-Oct. 1) through access to real-time scoring, video, and updates.

RyderCup.com and Ryder Cup mobile apps will provide global comprehensive coverage, featuring live video, an interactive user experience, live scoring and editorial content. By clicking a player’s scorecard, users will get scoring data and shot tracking along with access to video highlights showing all the player’s best shots from each match (in select territories). All digital platforms will feature minute-by-minute live blog updates, embedded video highlights, daily recaps, previews and breaking news.

RyderCup.com will also feature live streaming of a select featured match each session, a Ryder Cup Live pregame show, the Celebrity All-Star Match on Sept. 27 and the final round of the Junior Ryder Cup on Sept. 28. Live streaming will begin at the start of the matches each day of the Ryder Cup. Full tune-in information can be found on RyderCup.com.

Ryder Cup Live, a first-of-its-kind live show aiming to capture the electric atmosphere and anticipation before play, will air before each session previewing matchups and daily results. This in-venue content will be located in the amphitheater of the 1st tee and broadcast around the venue on tournament screens, and the Ryder Cup’s digital channels.

New in 2023, Ryder Cup Game Zone is a highly interactive environment that hosts and showcases multiple games including Ryder Cup Fantasy and Pinpoint Challenge.

On social media, Access All Areas presented by BMW gives fans the true behind the scenes experience to feel part of the action the entire week. Additionally, fans will be able to find expansive content,  including highlights, video and minute-by-minute updates following Ryder Cup across X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok. The Ryder Cup Digital team’s investment and depth of content continues to grow, providing fans with graphical and video highlights, while an expanded, longer-form video strategy will deliver recaps and fun storytelling on YouTube.

Ryder Cup Fantasy provides the ultimate experience as a Ryder Cup Captain, with users having the ability to pick a separate team for each Match Day. The grand prize consists of a trip to the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black in New York, a signed pin flag from 2023 U.S. Ryder Cup Captain Zach Johnson and a $500 Ryder Cup Shop gift card. New this year, Pinpoint Challenge provides a real-time “long drive” and “closest to the pin” contest, enabling fans to get closer to the action and experience the excitement of predicting which players will hit the best shots.

The Ryder Cup App will keep fans up to date with all the latest action. From receiving breaking news, live match updates, course guides, watching highlights, locating players on the course, and, for those on-site, navigating your way around Marco Simone, the official Ryder Cup App will provide the best fan experience. An interactive map and player locator will allow fans to follow their favorite players whether they're practicing or out on the course.

Another new addition for 2023, Outcome IQ powered by Capgemini will provide a real-time outcome probability on the Ryder Cup website, mobile applications and telecast, showing the chances of a player (or players) to win/lose/tie at any given point of a match. The custom algorithm takes into account previous match play performance, performance in past Ryder Cups, real-time data points from the course, and more to provide this cross-platform insight.
