The most historic and prestigious major championship in senior golf, the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship celebrates its 84th edition in 2024 at Harbor Shores. This will mark the sixth time that the Championship will be played at Harbor Shores, located near KitchenAid's headquarters in Benton Harbor, Michigan. The Championship was born on the grounds of another of golf’s majors at the invitation of one of the game’s greatest players. At the suggestion of renowned amateur Bobby Jones, the inaugural KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship was conducted at Augusta National Golf Club in 1937, just three years after the first Masters Tournament.​​​​​ Past Champions include Raymond Floyd, Hale Irwin, Bernhard Langer, Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Gene Sarazen, Sam Snead, Lee Trevino and Tom Watson.
