"It is a pleasure to have this opportunity to represent The PGA of America before a national audience and to be associated with a host like Matt Adams, who has been a longtime supporter of PGA Professionals and one of the most respected media members in our industry," said PGA of America President Ted Bishop. "We look forward to this program serving as a voice for the 27,000 men and women professionals who dedicate themselves daily to grow our game." Adams, who splits residence between Providence, R.I., and Orlando, Fla., has hosted "Fairways of Life" the past seven years, with the program airing daily since 2010. Adams has worked in both golf equipment manufacturing and golf course operations for more than thirty years. Only recently has the demands of golf broadcasting necessitated him devoted his full time efforts to the craft. "I'm excited about having Ted Bishop and The PGA of America on the program because Ted is a friend, first, and secondly, because I am proud of what he has accomplished to date as president," said Adams. "Todays' golf media is dominated by pundits who have never worked a day in the golf business.
