For the 17th consecutive year, PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Fla., will host the 2012 National Car Rental PGA Assistant Championship presented by Cobra Puma Golf, a national championship for 126 PGA assistant professionals and apprentices. The 2012 field will feature the top-4 finishers from last year's Championship as well as 122 players who advanced through their PGA Section Championships.

The PGA Assistant Champion also earns a spot in the 46th PGA Professional National Championship, June 23-26, 2013 at Sunriver (Ore.) Resort.
